There are many Airbnb places in Pinehurst. The prices are generally better than hotel prices.
Biscoe isn’t the best area to stay. The locals consider it a bit unsavory (not safe).
Seagrove has our favorite pottery places. We like the Original Owens Pottery.
Pinehurst Golf Course is public and private. Course #2 is the famous one.
Since my family lives here, I’ve been to North Carolina many times. This is my first time staying in Pinehurst though. I think this is my #1 suggestion - stay in Pinehurst. Prior to this trip, we stayed in hotels in Asheboro. Pinehurst is a beautiful historic town, Asheboro…isn’t.
Pinehurst is home to the historic Pinehurst Resort and Golf Course. The town has many beautiful shops in many beautifully maintained historic buildings. Most of these shops are located near the resort.
Southern Pines is located nearby and has many of the traditional shops and restaurants.
